American Tobacco Trail

The Wake County portion of the American Tobacco Trail is a 6.5-mile recreational rail-trail located in the western part of Wake County.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to damage from Hurricane Helene, the American Tobacco Trail is closed between the Wimberly Road trailhead and the Town of Apex White Oak Greenway. For your safety, please do not enter or attempt to pass through the barricaded area. This section is unstable, has many hazards and is not passable. Thank you for your cooperation during the clean-up and repair of this section.
