Initiated by the Raleigh Chamber, this ongoing initiative asks community members and organizations to support of our collective commitment to dismantle systemic racism.

Wake Invests in Women

An interdependent collaboration between Wake County, Wake Tech, and community and business partners is an investment to create large scale change.

Non-Discrimination Ordinance

The Wake County Board of Commissioners adopted an ordinance in 2021 prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations and employment.

Disparity Study

Wake County is focused on strengthening business opportunities for people of color and women. To accomplish this goal, the County partnered with Griffin & Strong.
