Wake County Health and Human Services offer multiple options for HIV/STI testing. All tests are free and confidential. For questions, email HIV.STDoutreach@wake.gov.

Please visit Clinic A (on the first floor of the Public Health Center Health & Human Services building at 10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27610) for testing and treatment for syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV. Screening tests for herpes and genital warts are not available if no symptoms are present. Clinic A is only able to treat herpes and genital warts (HPV) outbreaks. There may be a charge for HPV treatment. Payment will be on a sliding scale and based on income. Proof of income is needed. Medicaid and insurance may be billed for individuals who have third party coverage.

Wake County Condom Distribution Sites (CDS)

The CDS program provides free condoms and educational materials to participating barber shops, beauty salons, tattoo parlors, laundry mats, markets and other local businesses. These community partners volunteer to display CDS materials free of charge to improve community members' access to condoms and education and testing information.
