Call for WIC Services

WIC services and appointments continue to be provided by phone or in person  at this time Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; eWIC benefits will be issued remotely.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides healthy foods, nutrition and breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and community services. WIC serves babies and children up to age five, pregnant women, and new mothers. All caretakers of young children and working families are welcome at WIC!

WIC is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and income guidelines are based on a family income of less than 185% of U.S. Poverty Income Guidelines or families receiving assistance from another qualifying program. All WIC applicants  have a health and nutrition assessment as required by program guidelines.

Am I Eligible?

WIC is for infants, children up to age 5, pregnant women and women who have recently delivered a baby.

What to expect at your first WIC appointment

  1. You will receive a call from WIC on your appointment day between 9 a.m.–4 p.m., not at a specific time.
  2. You will be asked about your eligibility, diet and health information, and may be referred to the breastfeeding team.
  3. You will be assigned follow up nutrition education.
  4. You will receive an eWIC card to help you buy healthy food.
